My scrappy churn dash quilt is coming along... slowly. I apologise for the bad picture. It's still early and dark out so it's under harsh sewing room lighting.
I don't need a whole lot more blocks to finish this quilt top by the end of September deadline. I'll try to get those finished in time - it'll be nice to have this done and I can quilt and donate it in time for Christmas.
Can you believe it's only a few short months until Christmas is here again? Also, can you believe our local supermarket has started selling fruit mince pies? The stores seem to be getting their Christmas stock out earlier and earlier each year.
So pretty..... will be a cheerful quilt...

ReplyDeleteWhat a nice-looking quilt this will be, and so generous of you to make it to donate. I love Churn Dash blocks; always have. No, I can't believe you're seeing Christmas stuff already! Not here, thank goodness. Or else I've been ignoring it! It's much, much to early to think about planning present-giving.
