It’s big and sturdy and will hold lots of books.
My sister in law put the request out for a library bag for her birthday, so I hope that this will suit her needs.
She’s not a person who likes the bright (sometimes garish) colours which I do, so I had to control myself when making the bag for her. I used a Moda charm pack which I had in my stash and some quite heavy duty canvas at the base.
I think it turned out quite nicely and am sure she’ll be able to fill it with books for herself and her kids when they go to the library.
Gorgeous bag, love the colours. Hugs, xx
ReplyDeleteLucky sister-in-law, this is a beautiful bag.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, lucky lady.
ReplyDeleteVery sweet bag. It is a challenge making stuff for others when they like different stuff. I guess everyone is like that. It is a great challenge for us. "broadens our horizons" as my mom used to say.
ReplyDeleteHappy week-end coming, Anorina
A beautiful bag and a great gift for a reader.

ReplyDeleteShe will be tickled pink!
ReplyDeleteA lovely sturdy bag that will certainly carry lots of books. It is difficult trying to make something using colours you don't usually use.
