I decided that I'll be playing along with Elm Street Quilts for One Monthly Goal (OMG). It might help me focus a little bit and get things done, rather than dithering about without a purpose.
This month, I'll be continuing the hand quilting of my Midnight at the Oasis quilt. It's coming along very slowly. I take the quilt and basket of threads over to the dining room table, work on it diligently for oh about... 15-20 minutes and then it either sits there for a few days (untouched) or gets folded up and returned to the sewing room.
So my goal this month is to finish the quilting up through to the next border. I'm thinking that small steps might be more fruitful in the long run.

This is beautiful, such fabulous colours. At this time of year my only goals are to finish the Christmas presents that I should have started earlier in the year!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your goal.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful and your quilting is exquisite. I agree with the small steps; I usually bite off more than I can chew - like last month - and regret not breaking the task down into smaller pieces.
ReplyDeleteif you can stick with it just 15 minutes a day even you will see progress. I love the colors you used for this quilt - I hope to start making this pattern next year.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your OMG. It is a great way to keep projects ticking along. I can’t wait to see your quilt completed. It really is stunning.
ReplyDeleteOh, my goodness, it’s going to be absolutely gorgeous! Good luck accomplishing your One Monthly Goal! I look forward to seeing it finished.
