I joined Wendy and friends for Friday Night Sew In... but I have to admit that I didn't get a lot of sewing done. While bingeing on "Bosch" (Amazon Prime), I prepped scrappy orange hexies and made a few orange hexie flowers.
It's orange month for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge, hosted by So Scrappy. Though the month is already over half over, I'm glad to have finally made a start on my orange blocks.
Thought I'd share a new picture of Charlie. He's growing up and loves nothing better than hanging out with us, no matter what we're doing.
Charlie came to live with us a week before we got locked down here in NSW and so hasn't really known what it's like to have an empty house. It's going to be a struggle when we're finally let out of lockdown and he's left alone.
Pretty flowers and Charlie fits in very well with this month's colour.
ReplyDeleteLOL yes he does match, doesn't he? He got snipped this week so has been extra sooky and clingy.
Deletewell in the meantime Charlie has company. I hope you stay busy
ReplyDeleteIf Charlie doesn't have company, he goes and finds that company, no matter where they are in the house (even the loo).
DeleteSuch pretty orange flowers! And a cute dog too! Lots of dogs are going to have a hard time after the pandemic
ReplyDeleteYes, I think you're right. They just get so used to having their people around all of the time. We have a cat too, so I'm hoping they become better friends than they are right now, so they can keep eachother company :)
DeleteI'm so partial on hexies and your orange ones look spectacular. Charlie looks adorable and I'll bet he's been wonderful company for the family!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I love hexies too. They're just so happy!
DeleteCharlie is certainly a wonderful companion and loves to be near us all of the time.
Your hexies look very pretty. It is so fun sewing them. It is like sewing little candies.
ReplyDeleteI have not seen Bosch. I usually do not watch much of Hollywood stuff. We have been watching britbox and just got the pbs app for a month to binge on their shows I never get to see
Also watching a couple of stupid shows on Apple tv, incredibly dumb shows, Ted Lasso and The Morning Show. Just brain numbing.
Charlie is incredibly adorable. You might have to bring him along with you. I could never ever leave that sweet fella home alone. 🥰🐶❣️❤️😹💋
Oh I just love the shows on Bribox too. We had it for a little while and then swapped to Prime when I bought something for my daughters birthday and was signed up for the trial (and kept going for another couple of months).
DeleteLine of Duty and Unforgotten are some of my favourite shows which on Britbox.
Enjoy your weekend :)
The orange hexies look pretty. I don't have much orange fabric.....
ReplyDeleteThank you. I don't seem to have a lot of orange fabric on my shelves, but surprisingly have a lot of orange scraps pieces.
DeleteThey are very pretty hexie flowers. Charlie is so cute. Hugs, xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeanette. Charlie is a cutie and lucky that he's cute. Some of the naughty things he gets up to...
DeleteLove all those "oranges" together... & yes poor puppy will feel it when you can all get out...
ReplyDeleteIt's getting closer to that date too...yippee xox
Bosch is one of the few TV series where the character in the book matches the TV person, well how I think he is anyway 😁 lovely orange hexies. I brought our sons dog here one day last week as it was the first day his owners were both at the office after many months. He has to get used to being home alone too.
ReplyDeleteAwe, Charlie is so cute! I watched the 1st 2 seasons of that show but found the 3rd season a bit harder to watch for some reason. Did you like season 3? Lovely hexies.
ReplyDeleteGreat orange hexies and how cute is Charlie.
ReplyDeleteHe will be very lonely when you are all out of lockdown….
Oh, I adore your orange hexies! But you probably already know that orange is one of my favorite colors - the one I have most in my stash and scraps. Your puppy is so adorable! That face! I am sure he will be bereft when everyone heads out to work and school, though, I hope for your sake - and everyone's mental health - that the day isn't too far away.
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you were able to dig into your orange hexies. They look great!
ReplyDeleteCharlie is a cutie. As people need to return to works the dogs of the world are going to be crazy and lonely. The orange hexie's look great.
