Christmas is my favourite time of year, so when I saw that Carol of Just Let Me Quilt was hosting a Christmas in July Blog Hop, I was keen to join in the fun. It's never too early to start sewing for the happiest and most festive time of the year.

Today, I'm pleased to share my Keep Cozy at Christmas Quilt pattern with you all. This was a quilt which I created a few years ago and which was published in a Handmade Magazine Christmas issue.
To make the Keep Cozy at Christmas quilt, all you need are some festive F8s or FQs, a couple yards of two coordinating solid fabrics plus extra for the outer border, binding and backing. The print fabric which I used in this design is called Cozy Christmas by Lori Holt for Riley Blake Designs.
This Cozy Christmas range of fabric is timeless and yardage is available for purchase at the Fat Quarter Shop.
It's never too early to start sewing for Christmas.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt! Thank you sew much for sharing your lovely pattern ... <3 Pat
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute Christmas quilt -- great way to use all of those novelty holiday prints that I can't stop buying every year. I especially love the unexpected pink and white background fabric. It sets off the holiday prints nicely and kind of reminds me of peppermint candy for some reason.
ReplyDeleteI love the mix of the squares that is the two square blocks on the borders. I have just not got my machine out to start again and put it off all the time but I love to see the stuff bloggers put out there. So creative and so pretty. Thank you for this post.

ReplyDeleteWhat a cute quilt; kind of nice that it doesn't look completely Christmasy. Thank you for the pattern.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful design! And how generous of you to offer the pattern for free. I've never made a Christmas quilt, and the chance of that ever happening is very slim. Our two children and their families haven't shared Christmas with us for 11 years now, so no decorations, no tree, and no festivities. The distance between us is too great, especially with young children. But I bet your design would be wonderful from scraps! I sure admire your design skills.
