Do you love a bright and colourful quilt as much as I do?
Well you might just like my newest project called 'Bring Me The Scraps' which is published in the latest (Feb/March 2020) issue of Australian Homespun magazine.
This quilt was such fun to make. I loved delving through my scrap baskets to find the right fabric combinations to piece each block. I've used fabrics in this quilt from all over the place and from all sorts of previous projects. It was a little trip down memory lane and quite enjoyable.
The blocks are set on point, which I love. I've used a dark blue/white print for the outer triangles and the wide border which I think really make the blocks pop even more.

This issue is really bright and fun. It introduces the new 2020 Tilda Block Of the Month which is designed by Tone Finnanger along with projects by Minki Kim, Claire Turpin, Toni Alexander, Marilyn Bell, Chris Austin, Catherine Boys and Brenda Ryan.
