After months of keeping a secret, I'm so pleased to share with you my Lovely Lattice quilt. Gosh I love this quilt and I made it big enough to fit on my bed.
To make Lovely Lattice, I delved into my stash of Denyse Schmidt fabrics. I'd been hoarding them for years and figured it was about time I cut into them and put them to good use.
Lovely Lattice is made up of 2.5" strips and light/neutral solids. It's a great pattern for using Jelly Rolls, Fat Quarters or yardage as I did.
You can find the Lovely Lattice quilt pattern now, in the new Oct/Nov 2019 issue of Australia Homespun magazine.
I just love this cover project by Lisa Mattock. Can you just feel the texture this pillow has, right through the screen? I've added it to my 'must-make' list.
Lovely quilt.... your designs are always so pretty and fresh...

This is so pretty! Perfect way to use up your treasured pieces! So bright and cheery too!
ReplyDeleteI made this quilt as a lap quilt. I used Lori Holt's Sew Cherry original fabrics, which I had been saving for something special. I just love the way it turned out and it was so easy.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations…..such a pretty quilt.
