Nancy has created lots of sweet and festive projects in her Christmas inspired book. Projects range between small ones (like mug rugs or wall hangings) which can be finished in a few hours or a weekend, to some bigger quilts which would take a little more time to create. The patterns are well written with lots of photographs and images, which is helpful for any skill level.
I went through the projects and decided to make something based on her 'Friendship Star Throw' pattern. I chose some blue and cream fabrics and decided to use the blocks in the quilt pattern, to create a new table runner.
It goes well in my living room and matches my furniture. Chester the cat was busy supervising the photo shoot from his seat over near the window. It is his favourite place in the house, especially when the morning sun is streaming through the windows.
