Happy Easter! I hope you've had a lovely longggg Easter weekend celebrating with your family and friends. Here are a few little things which have caught my eye this week. Hopefully you'll find them a little bit interesting too.
1. On the succulent theme again, I saw this great inspiration over on The Beautiful Mess with 5 DIY glass planters (perfect for succulents).
2. Cat lovers will love this very cute crochet kitty called Sweetheart Cat Ami. The pattern is free from Devine Debris.
3. Have you ever wanted to make your own soap? Here's a simple recipe by Sisoo for making Lavender, Honey and Lemon Soap. These would make such lovely gifts for friends or family.
4. The Mark Twain Quilt. I've been watching Crazy Mom Quilts progress with her paper pieced hexagons and I love the look of this vintage inspired quilt. I think this might be my perfect project to take away on holiday with me.
5. Do you have too many left over Easter eggs? I made some fudge in the slow-cooker (crock pot) with our left over eggs last year. Here's a fun recipe for slow-cooker fudge made with creme eggs. YUM!
6. I went on a date with hubby to the movies yesterday. We watched Blockers which was one of the funniest films I've seen in ages. It's certainly not for kids and is quite crude, but gosh it was funny. Have you seen any good films lately? Any films you're hoping to watch over the next
7. Whether you're thinking of planting your tulip bulbs or if your garden is blooming full of tulips, this pattern is for you.
Tulip Time is a long, thin wall quilt which suits my little wall beside my refrigerator. Do you have an awkward shaped wall that might need a Tulip Time wall quilt? Get the free pattern right here.
