After a quite busy week, Friday night finally rolled around (my favourite part of the week). I usually like to sit with my sewing in the evening and watch Gardening Australia. Last night was different though. The Commonwealth Games are on, plus the Dragons were playing the Rabbitoh's so we spent the evening flicking through all of the channels.
We watched the Aussie's win gold after gold after gold. We also watched the Dragons win a tough match against the Rabbits - we have supporters of both teams in this house, so it was noisy evening.
In all of this sporty action, I managed to prepare some EPP for my Kaleidoscope Quilt. The prep and basting always seems to take so long, don't you think?
These little pieced hexagons are quite small, and those little half diamond shapes are quite fiddly to prepare.
I'm hoping to get quite a few pieces ready over the weekend to take with me on our Europe holiday, which starts NEXT WEEK!
Oh my goodness, I don't feel prepared!

I agree the prep is the slowest part. Pretty hexies.

ReplyDeleteOh! Love those little blocks! I agree, prep work is time consuming, but it's so wonderful when you can dig into those ready made pieces and just stitch away :-)
