We're away on holiday in England right now, so crafting is quite limited. I brought over a little bit of embroidery and the beginnings of a crochet blanket which I'm slowly making for a new baby due later this year.
Like all crafters, I don't seem to have a problem with starting new projects. After a visit to a teeny little yarn store in a town called Battle (near Hastings) I came away with a cake of rainbow loveliness.
Within the space of 5 days, I purchased some beautiful squishy yarn. Started and finished an infinity scarf. And, best of all, I even got to wear it! I think it's the first crochet project I've ever finished this quickly and used immediately afterwards.
I had a few questions as to the pattern I used. I found the pattern on YouTube for the Cluster V Stitch Scarf by Blossom Crochet UK.
It's a lovely design and once you get past the first couple of rows, it's very simple to master. I did most of my crocheting in the car while hubby drove us between our destinations.

The yarn I used was a cake of King Cole Curiosity (150g) with a 4.5mm hook. Incase you'd like to make on too, I've shared links to the Amazon for the products which I used, below.

ReplyDeleteFunnily enough, it's gotten warmer since I finished it. The English are funny - it was 14C yesterday and there were people stripping down in the park trying to get a sun tan.
