Down Under Quilts is one of Australia’s premiere quilting publications. Not only is it filled with gorgeous and inspiring projects, but it’s also bursting with informative articles and all of the latest trends, techniques and news.
This month, Down Under Quilts will be relaunched with a fresh new look… and best of all, I have a bright and summery quilt project in this issue.
My quilt project is called Citrus Burst. This is a photo I snapped at home before submitting it to the magazine. My toothless terror was having a fit of giggles when I was taking the photos. This picture just makes me laugh every time I see it.
Down Under Quilts (issue 166) will be on sale Thursday 18 September and not only can it be found at your local newsagents, but also at Coles. Yay! Now you can do your grocery shopping and pick up a copy of your favourite quilting magazine all at once.
This issue also comes with a gift - a pinwheel of quilting pins, ready to use in your next project. Perhaps your next project will be my Citrus Burst Quilt *insert eyebrow waggle here*.
To celebrate the new look magazine, Down Under Quilts will give away a copy of this new issue to a lucky Samelia’s Mum reader. To enter, leave a comment telling me:
