I had such fun reading all of the entries in the Simply Retro with Camille Roskelly book giveaway.

There would certainly be a lot of poodle skirts at our retro party.

And we’d all be feasting on dips brought in tupperware dishes, fondue, pot luck dinners and be drinking punch, from those little little punch cups which hang on the side of the punch bowl.

The winner of the book is Linda, who is not only dressing herself for the retro party, but her husband too – both dressed in their best polyester.

Remember the baby quilt I was making from a pattern in Simply Retro?

Well it’s now been quilted… yay!

And here is the finished product – the image is a little bit overexposed, but I seem to take my photos at night, in the worst possible light.

I used a charm pack of Mod Century and some Kona Cotton in Cream.

It was a quick quilt to put together, and I’m pleased with the final result. There are a few expectant mums in my life right now, so I won’t have a problem finding someone to give this little quilt to.
