Reading. A love, which I rarely have time to partake in.
But sometimes… a book comes into my life, which I am so taken with, that the love affair with reading is rekindled.
Memories can happen anywhere.
It’s not just the big events, but the small moments, too.
The Avalon Ladies Scrapbooking Society is lovely to read. It is warm, sweet and as comforting as a warm cup of tea on a cold winters day.
I haven’t been able to put it down, yet at the same time, am trying to read it slowly, so that it will never end.
What’s the last “un-put-downable” book you read?
Making a note of this one.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a good one Mystica :)
DeleteMost books I read are un-put-down-able because I just need to know what happened next! IT generally only takes me two days to read a book once I get going!
ReplyDeleteOh wow - you're a fast reader. Lately it's been a matter of reading only a page or two before I fall asleep, so I forget where the storyline is going and quickly lose interest.
DeleteThis book has captured me though. I read another few chapters last night and am contemplating picking it up again in a minute after I get a few jobs finished.
I have recently read Scarlet Feathers and Tara Road both by Maeve Binchy. Hard cover and only $2 each from Lifeline. Now reading Giving Quilt by Jennifer Chiaverini, I really love the way she writes and find them pretty un-put-down-able because as Lynne puts you have to know what happens next.
