Sally Giblin of The Rivendale Collection has just released a new range of patterns, which is great for us, as they’re absolutely gorgeous.
If you love whimsical, pretty, girlie designs, these are certainly patterns to consider.
This bag pattern (below) is called “Hiccups” and I think it’s my absolute favourite. That little owl in the corner is super cute.
This stitchery in ‘Love Birds’ is so pretty. I think it’s a perfect pillow for a little girls room. I know that my little girl would love it.
Pop on over to Bee Sew Whimsical to see and purchase some of Sally’s other beautiful patterns or contact Sally directly for stockist info via email: sally@therivendalecollection.com.au
And because she’s so generous, Sally Giblin has offered 6 patterns to giveaway to a lucky Samelia’s Mum reader.

ReplyDeleteWhat amazing designs - damn hard to choose one but as this would be my first pattern work I would choose FRECKLES as its brilliant and would allow a tad more room for error
ReplyDeleteI like them all but Hoot Together is my favorite.
ReplyDeletePick one - if I'm honest, I have to say I want them all!!! I agree that Hiccups is my favourite though I could see myself making every one of them & have a workmate who would put an order in too. Like many others I have some new Marmalade fabric that I could make Hiccups in & wear very proudly. Very generous of Sally & brilliant designs! Tracee xx
ReplyDeleteI think I would use Moda's Phenomenal Fall.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd have to say that the Love Birds pillow was my favourite - though they're all gorgeous!!! I would have to make it in either 'Posy' or Marmalade :)
ReplyDeleteI'm obsessed with owls so I love them all-but if I had to pick one I'd pick Esme.
ReplyDeleteI would use Moda's SpringHouse
ReplyDeleteThe Hiccup and the Hoot Together are the ones I like best. :)
ReplyDeleteI think they are all gorgeous, but if I have to pick a favourite, "Lovebirds". I'd probably use fabrics as close as possible to eh original design, love those colours.
ReplyDeleteI am luving 'TWO HOOTS' right now. The others are all gorgeous too.
ReplyDeleteI would like to be different and use some of CANTIK, HOFFMAN & MODA BATIKS. May be in soft pinks, purples & a bit of blue..
ReplyDeleteTwo hoots in coquette. That was definately a hard decision!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is Two Hoots
ReplyDeleteI'd use my last bit of 'Ruby'!!
ReplyDeleteI love Esme Owl. But that was a really hard question!!
ReplyDeleteI think I would use some of the Tula Pink Apothecary. Or some purple and green fabrics. This is even harder to decide. I am sure that by the time I have a chance to make it there would be a bright, owly fabric available that I could use.
ReplyDeleteI love Look Who! One owl is cute, but three is even better.
ReplyDeleteI would like to make these patterns from Simply Color.
