Have you heard about the Scrappy Trip Along #scrappytripalong which has spread across social media like wild fire?
Up until a couple of days ago, I had only seen a lot of beautiful photos on Instagram, but not made the connection that it was a ginormous quilt along (well sort of).
Michelle of Button Tree Lane had been putting up these beautiful pictures, and pointed me in the direction on how to get started.
I finished the first four blocks in a couple of hours (with a few stops, starts and a beach visit thrown into the mix).
I’m pleased with the result and admit that I may be just slightly addicted. The pattern looks way more complex than it actually is – and it comes together quickly.
Have you been bitten by the Scrappy Trip Along bug yet?
Yep I've been bitten in a big way. I am on Intstagram just search lilabellelane :) my last "few" photos prove that I've been bitten lol hugs

ReplyDeleteI whipped out a dozen but not as fast as you did. Now that I've got the hang of it I've got to get back to my real projects. Love the bright happy fabrics.
