This week, I got to go shopping (for Samelia’s Mum) at Target again. Yes, it’s a pretty good gig, isn’t it?
Not only did I shop, I think that I exceled at trialling this weeks Target task – Fragrances. I absolutely adore perfume.
Here is the Beauty / Fragrance section of my local Target store.
I’m a spritzer. A spritzer from way back. My mother would tell you that ever since I was young, I’d spritz myself with all of the perfumes, body sprays, colognes, after-shaves, everything that was available to test, at the department store.
There are so many lovely scents available these days – whether you like floral, fruity or sweet scents, you can find them at Target. Most importantly, you can purchase these fabulous fragrances, at very affordable prices.
I definitely needed to share this next photo. I had no idea that Justin Bieber has a women’s fragrance on the market.
And one of my all time favourite celebrities with a fragrance range, is good old Kylie Minogue.
Do you remember the days when perfume was super expensive? These days you can buy fun celebrity perfumes or old favourites, and they won’t break the bank.
I kept snapping pictures and kept spritzed myself silly while I was “researching”.
I may have spritzed myself with EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE Chi Chi fragrances. Aren’t these bottles vibrant and fun?
So in the end, what did I end up buying with my Target voucher? I bought a couple of gifts for Christmas.
For my mum, I bought Vanderbilt Eau De Parfum. She adores this scent and I’m sure she needs some more.
When I was younger, I used to love So…? and came across these packs of Rock n Roll So…?
So… I bought a pack to gift my niece this Christmas. Niece if you’re reading this, don’t look!
This Christmas, if you’re looking for a gift for someone special in your life, and not sure what to get them, maybe think about visiting your local Target fragrance counter.
The staff are helpful and can direct you to what is new, all time best sellers and even guide you in age appropriate selections.
I have a large selection of perfumes and colognes at home and like to change them up, depending on my mood and where I’m going or what I’m wearing. When it’s special occasion, I bring out the big guns, like Chanel or Elizabeth Arden.
Do you have a signature scent?

Since my late teens I have loved Opium by Yves St Laurent but being so strong & spicy wear it for nights only. Days I don't tend to wear perfume regularly but maybe it is time to do some spritzing & find a new fragrance. Tracee xx
ReplyDeleteGoats milk soap! I'm allergic to most perfumes -- they make me sneeze and/or give me a raging headache. The fragrance department of any store or chemist is avoided where possible!
ReplyDeleteThere are some beautiful perfumes out there but I will never tire of Chanel No. 5. It's distinctive, lasts all day and makes me happy.
ReplyDeleteMaria.
My signature scent for well over a decade has been Chanel Allure! I love it and I never tire of it. Each bottle lasts such a long time too. Jacinta
ReplyDeletePersonally I love Pleasures Intense by Estee Lauder. Unfortunately Target in Armidale doesn't even stock perfume.
ReplyDeleteI'm obsessed with that Victoria Secrets body spray we picked up at the airport! I wear it every single day, and sometimes I spritz some on just before I go to sleep so I can fall asleep to the scent.
