Playing with Geese

So, it's been a while since I've done much sewing. Life has been getting in the way of my craft.

I did hem my husbands work pants the other day - that counts, right?

This evening, my husband is in Perth and my kids are in bed after an exhausting day - so I decided to do some sewing.

Some flying geese blocks were the result of my efforts - its the start of a mini quilt which I'm making for my secret partner in DUDQS3.

My partner seems to like pretty colours and triangles - I think I'm heading down the right track.

  3. Love reading about quilts as they grow. Hope you posta bout this as it unfolds. I'm handquilting a quilt for my son right now. It's a big project. The paisley-type fabric you've used is really attractive.
