Remember when I showed you my cover in Handmade Magazine? If not, click here and have a look at that post.
It’s a Christmas Special with lot’s of gorgeous projects to make and inspire you – plus it’s out in plenty of time to get started on festive sewing.
Earlier this week, I found another copy of the Handmade Magazine in my mailbox. It had been sent from the publisher. Yay!
I thought that maybe one of my lovely friends would like this extra copy? I’ve had a lot of Australia Only giveaways lately, so this one will be open internationally.
Just leave a comment here or on the Samelias’ Mum Facebook Page – tell me something fun or quirky or silly or embarrassing. Really, just tell me anything you like.
I’ll choose a winner late next week (after we settle into our new house).
I shall continue packing up the kids rooms. Who know they could fit (and hide) so much into their bedrooms!?!?

Well, I'll tell you I need to win this as I'm having craft magazine withdrawals, haha! And something funny - the other day my son was thanking my husband for yumminess and instead said, "Thanks dad for my penis!"
ReplyDeleteThis is embarrassing. I bought toilet paper today only to discover the cupboard at home already so full of toilet paper. We will never run out that's for sure. We could set up shop.
ReplyDeleteI am typing this quickly, so our four kittens won't type you a message themselves, or delete what I've written. Some people might think that is cute or quirky--sometimes it seems embarrassing: "kittens everywhere!"
ReplyDeleteI really need to get motivated and start on christmas gifts
ReplyDeletewoohoo, thanks for the chance, so cute, need to start thinking holiday!
ReplyDeleteLast year we made santa stockings with deliberate hole so hints of what's inside poked through to tantalise the kids
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Mick!!
ReplyDeleteMy husband tacked his first hexagon for English Paper Piecing last night - I'd say that's quirky!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a great story, but I do think I am insane to add projects to my do to list, faster than I finish them.
ReplyDeleteWell, since you said anything, I will tell you about my craft room transition! I'm so very excited I have to tell. I'm moving from a tiny bedroom, into a huge room that was intended to be a game room for a pool table. You know it is big then. I painted it yesterday. My neighbor is taking my big old treadmill off my hands out of the room, and in trade she is giving me furniture and stuff for the room. Last night she showed me a nice big chair and a half (extra wide chair) for the room. It is floral and comfy. (I think I shall get a slip cover for it). But I love it! And she has floor lamps for me too. YAY ME!
ReplyDeleteCool !! How exciting to be on the cover! :-) Congratulations!! I'd love to have a copy-- the magazine looks great! :-)
ReplyDeleteGood luck on the packing! We moved a couple years ago, and I'm STILL unpacking and organizing.. Who knew the *I* could fit so much in *MY* bedroom... and living room... and kitchen... and utility room... etc ! LOL :-)
Oh what a great feeling to be on the cover. Here in Germany I never saw this magazine, so I have to win it from you, lol. I would be very happy, because christmas is coming so soon and I don´t have any ideas for christmas crafting.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations being on the cover. Something embarrassing is that we have to admit that two of our sons barrack for Collingwood (we barrack for Carlton)! We have failed as parents! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI would really love that magazine. I need SOME INSPIRATION for my Christmas gifts and cards that I want to make. Thanks for this opportunity.

ReplyDeleteThank-you for offering this contest internationally.Right now spelling internatioally wrong 3 times was pretty silly considering I'm still not sure I got it right and it is spelled at the top just can bear to look because I'd really like to win this maybe quirky too. Thanks
ReplyDeleteOK so my earlier comment has disappeared and I can't for the life of me remember what I said!
ReplyDeleteJust count me in please!!!!!
Congrats for being on the cover! I could really need some inspiration for Christmas and would love to win the magazine.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this Magazine, it looks great most of alle your pattern.
ReplyDeleteI wish you a good time in your new home, must be a bit hard to say goodbye to the old home too.
Liebe Grüße
Bente in Germany
Congratulations for being on the cover of the magazine!
ReplyDeleteI just picked my first yellow tomatoes today. And my son says "mom they look like pears." I said "yes, they are yellow pear tomatoes". He thought that was really cool that they were a different shape & color! :)
Congrats on your magazine coup!
ReplyDeleteLast night I was up sewing way too late - how did I know it was too late? I sewed two squares together to make a "flip" triangle, ironed it up the right way...it looked perfect, then proceeded to trim the excess...yep you guessed it...I trimmed off the bit I wanted to keep!!!
