GIVEAWAY CLOSED
Winner: Jane McCune Kelly
A couple of weeks ago, I was invited to an event sponsored by Telstra. For my international friends, Telstra is Australia’s major telephone carrier.
This blogger event included a cooking class with celebrity chef, Justin North, and the chance to learn about (and play with) the new Telstra T-Hub 2.
Unfortunately, I had to cancel at the last minute and didn’t attend the event. My lovely children had the flu, which they then lovingly passed on to yours truly.
As you’re probably aware from my previous posts, we’re in the process of building a new house. Luckily for us, we will be on the National Broadband Network (NBN). I was eager to try out the Telstra T-Hub 2 as this will be the way we’ll be connected in our new house (eventually).
Telstra have been generous (or perhaps they were just grateful that I didn’t spread my flu germs) and have given me my very own Telstra T-Hub 2. Not only one for me, but another one to give away to a lucky Samelia’s Mum reader. Keep reading to find out how to win.
The Telstra T-Hub 2 combines the very best features of a home phone and a tablet. With its touch screen operation and cordless handset, it’s easier than ever to keep in touch, browse the net and stay organised.
The T-Hub 2 is more than just a home phone. You’ll also enjoy:
- Convenient access to calls, voicemail and email
- The latest news, sport and weather at your fingertips
- The benefits of Android™ with easy access to Google, apps and more
- Capturing your favourite moments with the front and rear cameras
- Your favourite movies and music streamed on your Wi-Fi network with T-Share
- Access to thousands of stations worldwide with internet radio
- Relive your favourite memories on the digital photo frame

ReplyDeleteOur house is a telstra house and it is missing a T-hub, mobiles, internet, landline but no T-hub. A T-hub would make this home complete
ReplyDeleteIn my home the
ReplyDeleteT-Hub would make a huge impression.... phone, recipes, or searching the net .... it really would be my ‘prize’ possession.

ReplyDeleteMy current home phone is about 10 years old and in serious need of an update! And if I had a T-Hub, maybe I'd get a look in on the gadgets... I currently don't get a chance to use anything round here!
ReplyDeleteI would use this to stay connected with friends and family abroad and interstate and it looks so much easier to use.
ReplyDeleteI want to learn how to work stuff like this, so that I dont look technologically stupid to my kids.
ReplyDeleteThis will add an air of sophistication and technology to my simple home.
ReplyDeleteI really don't understand why I would need this new smart device.
ReplyDeleteDoes that make me a bonehead! I already know how to perform all these functions on my existing computer and it has a much larger screen.
I'm thinking that once I finally work it all out the Telstra T-Hub 2 would do away with all the extraneous gizmos we have now. Simplify my techno wizardry.
ReplyDeleteI need one to make my insane life simpler. Please.
ReplyDeleteOoo I have one of these. They are fab!
ReplyDeleteSlaving away in the kitchen all day,
ReplyDeleteBoth hands needed, no time for 'phone play'
The hands-free function's a winner for me ,
Prepping meals now made easy!
Being more mobile and being able to access so many great functions from the t hub instead of from the computer would be such a nice change. Ease of use and mobility is something I like.

ReplyDeleteT-Hub would solve this problem, totes!
Many devices rolled into one,
Discovering them all - so much fun!
To sum up,

ReplyDeleteBecause I need to get with the times and update my scratchie Uniden phone. Everyone that calls me says, there is something wrong with your phone...it keeps cutting out! I just keep moving to different spots in the house, hoping it doesn't crackle anymore!
ReplyDeleteA rural dwelling single Mum with three teenagers it's easy to see. Communication is important and it saves my sanity. Being very isolated with a Telstra T- Hub 2 we'd be so delighted.
ReplyDeletewhat a great giveaway! We are so archaic here we have a 'corded' phone! Yikes, I know!! lol.
ReplyDeleteI NEED Telstra's T-Hub because it's a pain in the butt when I want to find recipes & the laptop needs charging & takes up too much benchspace.
ReplyDeleteTelstra T- Hub 2 - I am in love with your ability to stream music, let me know what the weather's doing, and keep me in touch with my friends. If you came to live at my house, you would be adored, and used often. It would be cool to have some serious technology in our home x
ReplyDeleteI would be the coolest tech savvy Mum ever! My teenagers would be impressed (for once!) if I won! I love the idea of everything being controlled from one spot, wherever I am!
ReplyDeleteIt would get so much use: seeking
ReplyDeletecrafty & cooking inspiration, photographing my projects, losing myself in
Pinterest, watching movies while I craft and even communicating via email (&
phone!).
My iPhone is currently used in the kitchen, in the office & in the Workshop to stream recipes, tv shows & you tube handyman clips. The THub would be awesome!
ReplyDeleteMy brother got the cooking
ReplyDeletegenes. I struggle reading recipes AND actually cooking! Telstra T-Hub would save
us from endless mince - could learn from
Youtube or just call brother!!
