Hamish & Andy decided their second gap year needed to be a lot more Europeanier than the first. Seeing as they spent their first gap year in the U.S.A – just heading to Europe would make it more Europeanier.
Hamish & Andy are back and AS funny as ever, in EURO Gap Year.
They spent the European summer travelling and adventuring throughout Europe – obscure festivals and unusual sights and customs around Europe.
Each week, they broadcast from The Lord Stanley, a disused pub in East London, where they introduced us to un-drinkable beer which could only be used as “cheers” beer.
The pair travelled to Mostar, Bosnia where the local men jump off a 25m bridge to prove their coming of age. They stepped off the bridge boys and came out of the water men - very bruised men.
They raced wild deer in Lapland, and joined in finger pulling contests in Germany.
Men’s synchronised swimming in Prague, their translating prowess in Venice and they introduced us to performance cat theatre in Russia.
My favourite segment had to be the 24hr hitchhike race through Europe. Really, really funny.
With thanks to Roadshow Entertainment, I have 4 copies of Hamish & Andy’s EURO GAP YEAR to giveaway.

ReplyDeleteMongolia. I could see them having a wow of a time with camels and yurts and trying out some of the unlikely Mongolian sports. Then if they moved into Russia I'm sure they could do some manly Putin-type activities. I think they are hilarious and I laughed so much at their Euro Gap Year I had tears running down my face. I would love to win this giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI think the next gap year Hamish and Andy should do is in South East Asia. There are so many weird and wonderful things to do and see that it would provide perfect fodder for the wacky and wonderful pair.
