Earlier this year, you may have seen my Flora quilt, which I made for my friend Beck’s birthday. Beck loves bright, happy colours and I think these prints by Lauren + Jessi Jung are gorgeous (and bright).
Well, Beck still doesn’t have her quilt as it made it’s way over to the offices of Handmade Magazine… and into the latest issue. Yay!!
Oh and a little glimpse of it there - on the front cover :-)
I took this photo after I’d removed it from the protective cover – while I was still in the post office. Just a teensy little bit excited, you think?
I did get some strange stares from the other people in the queue.
For someone who has only been quilting for a few years, this is my 10th project publication. I’m quite pleased with myself.
Magazine: Handmade
Issue number: Vol 30 No 5
On Sale Date: Wednesday, 13th June 2012
Congratulations on being published.

ReplyDeleteCongrats, you deserve it! I must blog about my quilt top that I made from this pattern. It's been put away to quilt later in the year as it's destined to be a Christmas present.
