I came across this blog this morning, and I couldn’t put my hand up to join (and help) quickly enough. I think it is a wonderful way to start the year and do something good.

Jan-Maree originally of the blog Cherry Red Quilter has started a new blog, Aussie Hero Quilts, dedicated to all our Australian serving members in all three arms of our Defence Forces: Army, Navy and Air Force.

Jan-Maree and her quilt group, The Gumnut Quilters, are looking for quilters and sewers who would be interested in joining the cause in making laundry bags, quilts, pillows etc for our Australian service people.
