Christmas Eve was spent cleaning the house and making final preparations for tomorrows festivities.

Before bed, the kids laid out Santa's tray with his glass of milk, a piece of lemon slice (made this afternoon and much tastier than a packet cookie).

Rather than a carrot, Amelia and I decided to make some reindeer food.

Incase you were wondering, here is our recipe for reindeer food.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of rolled oats (or whatever cereal you have on hand).
Glitter - as much as you are willing to part with.

Method:

Place in a small bowl and mix vigorously but with much concentration... See image below.
