Yesterday, my beautiful little girl had her first ballet production.
She performed in her dance schools production of Wonderland – a take on the story of Alice in Wonderland.
She was a cat and performed in the song “Everybody wants to be a cat”.
Here she is, doing her cat pose :-)
She was a little bit nervous and I really thought her nerves would take over but she was so brave and got up on stage and danced in front of the packed auditorium.
Twice! For the morning and afternoon shows.
I am so very proud of my little lady. She is a braver girl than I.
She makes a very pretty kitty. xx
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Did she like wearing makeup?
ReplyDeleteShe's precious! Reminds me of myself and my sister when we were that age. :)
ReplyDeleteShe's so cute! My Daughter has been dancing for 7 years now (she's 10). Next weekend, I have my Daughter's Christmas dance program, so I know how proud of a Mama you are!
ReplyDeleteShe looks adorable. Does she does classical ballet or jazz ballet?
ReplyDeleteI went to my niece's dancing concert on Saturday and the cutest dancers were the little 4 year olds. And they got the loudest applause!
What a cute ballerina!
ReplyDeleteLol, an endearing 'pink panther' to make one smile. Love the little bow ears and that cute cat pose :).
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Robyn
How gorgeous...mums are always proud when their children do something special. Our boys play viola & cello and i never trier of watching them perform.

ReplyDeleteShe's just gorgeous, you must have been so proud. My Miss 11 has been dancing for 8 years and we are still so excited at every production. I don't know if its a big coincidence at all, but one of the local studios did a big production yesterday of Alice in Wonderland too - we have lots of friends there. If its the same studio, I heard you guys were fantastic ;)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Takes me back to my DD's dancing days; at that age she was one of those who would look for us in the audience and wave!!
