At the moment, I'm away on a little family vacation - again. Yes I know, it seems that my life is one big holiday, but seriously, its not. Really.
So anyways, having the space (& supplies) to be creative has been quite limited for the past few weeks. This is where hand sewing comes in.
Small stitching projects are fabulous for those times when you're away, but still feel the need for a creative outlet.
My hoop has been a fun place lately, with a little bit of Easter sewing ... (sorry about the poor photo quality - they were taken with my mobile phone in the evening with bad light).
... and some Christmas sewing. I'm determined to finish my 'Tis The Season (pattern by Natalie Bird) quilt as part of my stitch-a-long group (so I can start the next stitching project).
So what is happening in your creative space today?

What nice embroideries! I absolutely HAVE to have some kind of handwork when we go on a trip. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteMy creative space is going through an overhaul today. It looks as though a hurricane went through it! While I'm organizing I'm going to think of a hand sewing project I can start. It would be handy to have something small to pick up at a moment's notice.
ReplyDeleteI like your Christmas embroderie. And I rexcycled today a winter jacket for Nina. It turned out beutiful!
ReplyDeletegood to see some TTS sewing............the clock is ticking......
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiiful redwork,I love them.Your quilt will be very nice.
ReplyDeleteThat bunny is so cute and I love the simple red stitching of the Christmas project. I finished binding a quilt yesterday and am working on wheat bags (inspired by you - thanks) and coasters for our community quilting group's craft stall next month.
