Look at this case full of rainbow loveliness I discovered in my mum's sewing room earlier this afternoon.
Rainbow of thread, a photo by Samelia's Mum on Flickr.
I mentioned to mum that I'd bought some perle thread to have a go at hand quilting with it.
A light bulb went off in her head and she rummaged, then rummaged some more and came out with her old make up case - you know the heavy duty ones from the 60's that even have a lock on the clasp?
She opened it up and it was like we'd discovered buried treasure.
These lovelies now have a new home here in my sewing room. Thanks mum!
What a lucky find, now to get creative with it :)

OH WOW please please send some my way. I went to buy some at Spotlight $5.99 each. I pick mine up at Cobbity Markets where a guy sells them 4 for $10 (I think or there abouts).
