My partner for this month in Quilting Block Swaps Australia (QBSA) is Doris. I met Doris on a crafty forum we're both members of and on FB too. It's fun to swap with someone you "know"... well sort of.
Doris requested a block in black and white and 1 other colour starting with the letter D. What a wonderful challenge. After my new found love, I was all ready to make a Dresden plate block, but changed my mind at the last minute.
Here is the block I made for Doris. It's called a "Double Z block".
Today, the postman brought me this beauty from Doris. Isn't it absolutely beautiful. I love it.
It's been a fun swap month. Thanks to Sue for organising the swap and to Doris for being my swap partner.
