Do you have a giant tub of scraps that you can't bear to part with, but pieces which are almost too small to do anything with?
I do too.
I'm working on a little scrap busting project which I'm going to share with you - in the next few days.
I do have to say that sewing lot's of little bits is really quite therapeutic and it's fun trying to think back to where I originally used the fabric.

Yes, I think the most quilter have a lot of scraps. I´m taking part at the rainbow scrap challenge, there you can find a lot of great projects with scraps. And me and my kids use the very tiniest scraps, too. We stick it on a background, ut organza over it and quilt it. It looks nice, scraps go away and best of all, childs are busy and have fun. If you want, came to my blog and have a look at this. You have to scroll down and then you can find two bookmarks and a framed picture in that technic.
ReplyDeleteI´m looking forward to your scrap project. Maybe I can use more scraps of mine.
Greetings from a cloudy rainy German-Sunday, Elke
Waiting with interest to see your finished item :D!
