I've just discovered the "Starflower" block and I'm in love.
I made this for a swap partner but am sure I will make this block more often in future.
How gorgeous would a quilt look with lot's and lot's of starflowers?!?!
My other partner has asked for the log cabin block.
Even though it's a very common and popular block, I have to admit this was my first ever log cabin.
Another block I will make more of in future - though probably the wonky variety will be more my style ;-)
I love the direction of the fabric in the star block. Log cabins are timeless. There are so many variations.
