What do you do on a rainy Sunday?
Make some festive placemats ofcourse.
Start with 4 fat quarters (I've also added a tiny bit of white to break it up).
Cut them into random sized pieces.
Sew together into a rectangular-ish shape including a piece of all of your different fabrics.
Repeat another 5 times... or more times if you need more place settings. There is enough leftover fabric to make another couple of placemats - or maybe some coasters ;-)
And you end up with some festive placemats.
Now to trim, quilt and bind.
PS Incase you're wondering, the fat quarters are Hallmark fabrics by Free Spirit.
PPS Have you see then absolutely FAB-TASTIC HUGE giveaway over at Stray Stitches. Check it out HERE.
PPPS Don't forget about MY fantastic giveaway. Entries close on Sunday 5th December. Enter HERE.
PPPPS I thinks that's all for now :-)
