The months are just flying by and with the start of March, it's also the start of autumn (my favourite season) here in Australia. Yay!
For OMG this month, the main thing I'd like to finish are the green blocks for Rainbow Scrap Challenge #RSC21
I've put aside the green hexie flowers which I have already made and they're all ready to applique to their black and white backgrounds.
Next up, I need to get out my green scraps to see how many quarter log cabins I can make with them. I have a fairly decent size bag of green scraps so this will be fun.
I've also joined the Salt n Sand blog hop later this month so will definitely have a project ready for my hop day. I just need to go and decide what to make/share :)
I'm joining Elm Street Quilts for the One Monthly Goal link-up.
Nice green hexes and that’s a great pile of greens to play with...
ReplyDeleteThanks Maria. It's fun when you have a big pile of scrap fabrics all organised and ready to play with.
DeleteThis is so pretty! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThanks Karin :)
DeleteI'm happy to play with GReeN this month...so I look forward to seeing what you do with your greens too...xox
ReplyDeleteI don't normally like green all that much, but I'm starting to like it more now after making a bunch of blocks and seeing them all together. Happy green sewing month!!
DeleteVery inspirational!
ReplyDeleteLovely hexies, enjoy your green scraps.
ReplyDeleteLast year with soscrappy I started out well with my hexies...then slacked off. I am working again this year on them. If I could keep going on it I might have a top by the end of the year.
ReplyDeleteSimply lovely idea for your green project!
