The Rivendale Collection by Sally Giblin is full of wonderfully whimsical stitcheries and applique patterns.
Sally is a truly talented designer and the collection is made up of beautiful designs, sweet sentiments and the most gorgeous shabby projects to get you in the mood to stitch and create.
I first came across Sally Giblin’s work in a project in Homespun Magazine, a couple of years back.
This is one of my earliest stitchery projects called “Friends for Christmas” designed by Sally Giblin.
It’s hung on my wall for a couple of Christmases now – I’m pleased I took photos when I first made it because the kids have since been overly intrigued with the bells hanging on the bottom and removed them, to play with.
Sally has kindly offered 6 of her patterns as a giveaway to one lucky reader.
Here are some of the patterns you can win :
Like what you see? Yes? Good – I’m pleased! They are beautiful, aren’t they?
Pop on over to Bee Sew Whimsical to see and purchase some of Sally’s other beautiful patterns or contact Sally directly for stockist info via email: sally@therivendalecollection.com.au
Now for the giveaway…
Entering is simple – just answer the following question:
What sorts of designs do you like to stitch or applique?

ReplyDeleteI do more stitching than applique.
ReplyDeleteLove redwork, flowers and Christmas stitcheries. Thanks for this.
I like to applique children design's. I recently appliqued a mermaid using a vintage apron for the material for her fin and vintage teal polyester for her hair. I like to use materials that I pick up at antique stores, thrift stores, etc. It turned out really cute. I used the pattern for the mermaid from the book Wee Wonderfuls. But instead of making a doll I used it to do applique.
ReplyDeleteI am very much a newbie at stitchery but I love doing redwork. Linda
